Gas Blender and Technician Program (Nitrox Blender, Advanced Gas Blender and O2 Technician)

Program Content

The Gas Blender and Technician program is a hands-on, learn-as-you-go workshop. Our goal is to provide basic and advanced skills and the most up-to-date information on gas blending, oxygen cleaning and oxygen servicing techniques. The classroom portion will be two evening sessions of approximately 4 hours each. During these sessions, you will learn about the risks associated with O2 environments, the techniques and formulas for filling high-pressure cylinders, and the techniques required for safer handling of high-pressure oxygen.

Prerequisites

• At least 18 years of age
• Nitrox Diver certification

Course Limits

• Student to instructor ratio 8:1
• There are no dives in this program

Tuition
All fees are in Canadian dollars

• Tuition fee: $500
• Certification fees, manuals, dive gases, boat fees and other course expenses are extra and are subject to change

When you take a course form us you are not paying for a certification, you are purchasing training. Certification will only be issued if the student completes the program in the required time and to the satisfaction of the primary instructor.
