Founder/Coordinator & Head Instructor: HAMISH TWEED
Hamish is a very experienced cold-water diver with a passion for shipwrecks and caves. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario, where he started diving in 1991. He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1995 to pursue his dream of becoming a scuba diving instructor. By 1996 he was teaching recreational scuba diving and by 1998 was teaching advanced technical diving. That same year he became the head instructor for IANTD Canada, the Canadian arm of the largest technical diving agency in the world. Since 1996 he has worked steadily in the dive industry, providing over 500 certifications.
In 2000, he started H2O Madness Adventures with Aleina, their own scuba diving business specializing in technical diving instruction and travel. He has led many diving expeditions around the world. Hamish is an accomplished underwater videographer, and has published a number of articles on scuba diving.

Hamish lives in North Delta, BC. He has been actively involved in his community through volunteerism, including as head safety diver for the world-record setting Canadian Freediving team, as a volunteer with his local community police office, and as a presenter and keynote speaker for local diving organizations. Hamish has also assisted local authorities in a number of underwater search and recovery operations.

Hamish is one of the most experienced, highly-trained and qualified instructors in BC and Canada, and is respected worldwide as a skilled technical diver. His ability and experience inspire confidence and make him a great instructor, dive buddy and guide.
