His volunteerism has included the role as head safety diver for the world-record setting Canadian Free diving team from 2001 to 2003, as well as a presenter and keynote speaker for local diving organizations. He has also volunteered with his local community police office and assisted in a number of underwater search and recovery operations.
Hamish has been teaching Technical diving for over fourteen years. He has become an accomplished underwater videographer, and has also published a number of articles and stories on scuba diving. His ability and experience inspire confidence and make him a great choice as an instructor.
