DSAT Tec Trimix Diver


Program Content

The Tec Trimix course will further develop skills learned in the Tec 65 stage of training to extend divers' abilities. Emphasis will be on advanced dive planning to a depth range of 300 feet / 90 metres using multiple bottles, including at least 1 stage and 2 decompression bottles.

Successful students will be qualified to utilize any Trimix content as a bottom gas along with utilizing multiple stage / deco bottle and complete accelerated decompression dives using two or more decompression cylinders.

Prerequisites

  • Certified as a Tec 50 or Tec Trimix 65 Diver*
  • Certified as a PADI Rescue Diver*
  • Proof of training in CPR and First Aid within the previous two years
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Good physical condition
  • Completed medical questionnaire
  • Appropriate equipment
  • Logged proof of 250 dives
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician

* Or provide qualifying certification from another training organization

Course Limits

  • Student to instructor ratio 4:1 during open water dives
  • Maximum depth during course dives will be 75 metres / 240 feet
  • No training dives will be at night
  • Decompression gases will range from 50% to 100% O2

Tuition
All fees are in Canadian dollars

  • Tuition fee: $1200
  • Certification fees, manuals, dive gases, boat fees and other course expenses are extra and are subject to change

At H2O Madness our courses are designed to help students find the tools they need in order to expand their knowledge and meet their diving goals. When you take a course form us you are not paying for a certification, you are purchasing training. Certification will only be issued if the student completes the program in the required time and to the satisfaction of the primary instructor.
