Full Technical Diver Program (Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures and Extended Range)
Program Content
The Full Technical Diver program introduces the student to the many aspects and rigours of technical diving. The program consists of interactive learning and team building. A number of classroom topics will be covered including equipment configuration, decompression theory, gas management, advanced dive planning and oxygen management. The classroom portion of the program will take place over four evening academic sessions of approximately 4 hours each.
The second half of the program will entail 16 dives over four weekends. As well as applying the knowledge you learned in the classroom, these dives will focus on teamwork and on successful completion of timed skills, alone and in combination (i.e.: task-loading). These skills will build on each other to form the foundation of a solid technical diver.
Remember, your first technical diving program is usually the most important.
